In its pursoot to promote the release of a major 3D release, Lipton Brisk Iced Tea has revealed this 1:02 minute video. Brisk has partnered with Star Wars to launch the release of “Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace” in 3D. The association has Brisk releasing a mobile application called the Brisksaber app. This promotional content is called “The Death Of Darth Maul” and is part of the company’s “Thoughts From The Dark Side” marketing video series.
I find all of thiscross-promotional marketing campaign strategy simply un-funny. The videos are corny as hell. The strategy encourages young children to consume high-fructose beverages to get points in a mobile app game.
