The Ultrabook™ POP-UP THEATER is a series of live stunts that demonstrates the ultra thin design & responsiveness of the Ultrabook™.
A uniquely choreographed team of 60 individuals create a human digital wall made of Ultrabooks. The Pop-Up teams make surprise appearances on the streets of Los Angeles, transforming an everyday location into a mini theater.

In its pursoot to introduce their newest innovative product, Intel has uploaded a series of videos on their channels and on their website. They are called Pop-Up Theater videos. The purpose of these surprise appearances is to promote what they have trademarked as Ultrabooks.

Intel is banking on the viral potential of these videos to introduce their slim designed laptops that will compete directly with Apple’s Macbook Air. Their strategy however is so 2008. What is being marketed in these videos? Any laptop or tablet could have done the same thing. Intel should focus on showing people how Ultrabooks are different and better than the old laptops. You cannot go to war with Apple with a wooden slingshot!

Intel has launched the Ultrabook Project with Will.i.am to pitch their product to the mainstream mass. This strategy will attract more of the cool and hip market. Kudos for that at least! #willpower
