Volkswagen Invites You To The Bark Side

In its pursoot to provide virality to their campaign and to build on the success of last year’s, Volkswagen has started this new Super Bowl campaign. Volkswagen has collaborated with Star Wars again this year to allow users to send Star Wars-themed invites to people’s Super Bowls partys…with barking dogs. The invited friend will receive an invite with a choir of dogs barking the iconic Star Wars theme song. It’s The Bark Side.

These types of interactive/entertaining invites have been used before by other companies as a way to spread their reach. Rugby Ralph Lauren has used similar tactics during the past Holidays. So has Burberry.
