Hyundai Veloster 2012 Shows 3D Projection For RE:MIX LAB Event

In its pursoot to promote their new model car to eventually create a video with viral potential, Hyundai has created this 3D projection show. Hyundai advertizes their new 2012 Veloster during the Art Basel that took place in Miami. This is part of Hyundai’s RE:MIX LAB events.

During Art Basel in Miami, we used 3D projection mapping technology to transform the façade of Ocean Drive’s famous Tides Hotel into a giant 8,000-square-foot-canvas. Starring the Hyundai Veloster, the projection celebrated old school video games choreographed to an original 8-bit score composed by the popular chiptune band, Anamanaguchi.

The Hyundai Veloster RE:MIX LAB is a festival of art, music, fashion, technology, culture and design taking place in New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami and Los Angeles.

We have often seen these kinds of 3D projection shows from brands recently promoting their new products. Jordan Brand had one to promote its Melo M8 basketball shoe in NYC (viewed more than 2M times on the web!) and Nokia had one to promote their Lumia smartphones in London (viewed more than 1.5M on the web!) . These projections are popular on the web and investing in these could mean amazing exposure.
