In its pursoot to drive basketball sales, Nike has released this web video. Nike Sportswear has tabbed NBA Los Angeles Lakers Lamar Odom to appear in this ad which is part of its Always On video campaign. 

Lamar Odom might hoop in Los Angeles and appear on reality TV shows with his celebrity wife, but he hasn’t gone all the way Hollywood. In the new video “ALWAYS ON: LAMAR ODOM,” he takes viewers on a tour of the formative spots in Queens that shaped his game, his mentality and his life. Walk with him down Jamaica Avenue, see him practicing his handles at Frederick B. Judge Park and join him as he satisfies his famed sweet tooth at an ice cream truck. Lamar’s homecoming is accompanied by Stalley’s exclusive track “Born to Win.” “

People seem to forget that LO is from New York. Here is a reminder I guess. He’s probably been around there a lot with the NBA lockout causing David Stern and the team owners to cancel games.
