Tribeca Film Festival And Chanel Reveal Their Preview Art Piece For The 2012 Art Awards
This year, for the first time, Tribeca and CHANEL invited Scott Thrift, an acclaimed filmmaker and founder of the Brooklyn-based creative collective m ss ng p eces, to document the 11 amazing pieces donated by artists Kara Walker, JR, Peter Dayton, Clifford Ross, Walton Ford, Cindy Sherman,Stephen Hannock, Kim Keever, Nathan Sawaya, Hugo Tillman, and Stanley Whitney. In its pursoot to give exposure to their partners, Chanel has released this short preview video. Chanel has decided to endorse this year’s Tribeca Film Festival that showcases the creative artists of the New York area. This year’s event committeee has invited respected filmmaker Scott Thrift to create an artistic piece that will be donated to the winners of the Tribeca Film Festival Art Awards.
